The love when one of our own passes, towns and communities come together and a recent passing of an angel from Berkeley Township was no different.

Carly Fetzer fought her best fight with her congenital heart disease, something she was born with. Carly passed away this past weekend and the love and continuous support of this community is nothing but amazing.

From the Believe 4 Carly Facebook Page:

We wear those red ribbons with so much love for Carly and respect and sadness as this family loses their heart and a community loses a beauty with that giant smile. I've been to some fundraisers for Carly and the love from Berkeley Township for this family is and was something wonderful. Community is everything!

Carly lived longer than her her parents ever thought and in 2018 she graduated from Central Regional High School. For years, Bayville and surrounding communities came together with countless fundraisers, signs of love for Carly up and down Rt. 9, girls Berkeley softball teams with a heart and the number 4 on them, and so much more! How about even a "Carly Day" in Berkeley Township every February.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain and loss this family has gone through and I'm so, so sorry. I do know that this community will always be here with you and for you! We will still be wearing the RED Team Carly t-shirts, and help fight this horrible disease. RIP Carly <3
