This edition of Hiking NJ we are off to Salem County and a visit to Parvin State Park in Pittsgrove Township. The State Park is a beauty wrapped around Lake Parvin and Lake Thundergust.
There are 9 hiking trails and a trail connector. We did about 5 miles, mainly along the Lake Parvin Trail and Forest Loop.
The trails are easy, no major terrain or elevations....perfect for hikers of all ages and pets. There are restrooms, maps and trail makers. It was quite popular on a beautiful fall Sunday and there were lots of folks out enjoying.
The park is about an hour our so drive from Ocean County, with beautiful country driving all around the area....we enjoyed our trip and had another enjoyable day "Hiking New Jersey"
