Hey Ocean County Check Out the Bayville “Dine O’Saur”
We are just a little over two weeks away from St. Patrick's Day and everyone is Irish and wearin’ the green, including the iconic Bayville Dinosaur! This year as you drive by you can wave to the “Dine O’Saur” get it? Of course you did. The decoraters have done a great job getting the dinosaur ready for the holiday, complete with green top hat, scarf and a shamrock ☘️
For those who don’t know, according to Roadside America, the Bayville Dinosaur has been greeting folks in Berkeley Township since 1935. I didn't know this but it allegedly marks the halfway point between New York City and Atlantic City. Pretty cool our dinosaur made the grade and is recognized by Roadside America. The publication famous for intriguing landmarks around the nation. The Bayville Dinosaur has been around obviously as long as I can remember and has had a lot of different looks, including headless 😩 but truly a fun Ocean County landmark.
In conclusion: I love how the dinosaur is ready for St. Patrick's Day but one thing I think dino needs is a “green” scarf, not a big deal but would add a bit more “green” to the Bayville Dinosaur. The other thing that comes to mind, Easter is coming right behind St. Patrick's Day......what would you suggest to decorate the Bayville Dinosaur to get ready for Peter Cottontails’ arrival? Is it obvious....some very large bunny ears? Post your ideas in the comments section below 👇
