If the headline to this story makes saving a pup's life simple, that's because it is!

You can help save a dog's life just by playing a round of golf.

On Thursday, September 12th, Gambler's Ridge Golf Course in Cream Ridge is hosting a golf outing to benefit A Tail To Tell Puppy Mill Rescue.

The event's organizer, John Kelshaw told us more about the rescue group:

"A Tail To Tell saves dogs who would normally be put down when they were no longer 'useful' to puppy mill owners. . . all of which are in need of substantial veterinary care. In addition to saving these poor dogs' lives, the rescue group is responsible for all of the vet bills associated with them".

Anybody who has ever had a rescued dog as a part of their family knows how special they are, so this organization is truly doing a great thing by not only saving these dogs, but by also taking on so much of the medical costs before placing them with new forever homes.
