Help The Government Stop Telemarketers and Make $50k for it

We've all been annoyed by telemarketers before, in fact it's a topic that I've touched on right on these pages in the past. It's gotten so bad that the government is offering up $50,000 if someone can come up with a viable solution.

While the Do Not Call List is meant to work with telemarketers and businesses who follow the rules, let's be honest, not everyone follows the rules. Especially scammers and other questionable businesses. 

So now the FTC is asking invention minded consumers to whip up their best gadgets to stop the glut of "robocalls". The “FTC Robocall Challenge” kicks off on Thursday and runs through January 17th.
