Four men suspected of having ties to the Bloods are among five under arrest in connection with a pair of savage robberies in Red Bank.

Rounded up last Thursday and Friday were Lamar Hicks, 27, of Long Branch; Kadean Lane, 20, of Tinton Falls; Jason Hall, 20, and Dashaun Clayton, 21, of Red Bank; and also Luchretia Jackson, 26, also of Red Bank.

The four men are accused of beating and stabbing a 21-year-old victim on River Street in Red Bank during an attempted robbery on July 6.

Police say that the same four, plus Jackson, assaulted a 36-year-old Belmar man on July 12, taking money and jewelry, then driving his car into Mohawk Pond at the end of South Pearl Street and setting it on fire.

Hicks, Lane, Hall and Clayton are charged with robbery, aggravated assault, weapons possession and arson. Jackson is charged with robbery. She posted bail and was released. The men remain in the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold.
