A search of an Absecon apartment Friday yields heroin, cocaine and various drug paraphernalia items that led to an Egg Harbor Township man's arrest.

Absecon Police were following up on a complaint of suspected drug activity at Ismael Martinez's Clayton Mill Run apartment on South New Road, right across the street from Holy Spirit High School.

The search warrant executed by the APD Detective Bureau and Patrol Division found nearly 3-kilograms (106 ounces) of suspected heroin, 3-ounces of suspected cocaine and various drug paraphernalia items associated with the making, packaging and distribution of controlled dangerous substances.

The 33-year old Martinez is charged with operating a CDS production facility, manufacturing, distributing and dispensing CDS, possession of CDS and other drug paraphernalia charges.

He was also charged with the offenses while being in a school zone which in this case is Holy Spirit High School before.

Martinez was transported to the Atlantic County jail.
