"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" gets a fresh look for a new audience tonight on Fox.  The new production is a reimagining of the cult classic which first hit theatres in 1975.  Tim Curry who played the original Dr. Frank-N-Further will play the criminologist narrator in tonight's TV version.  You'll also see "American Idol" sensation Adam Lambert and Broadway's Ben Vereen, as well as Laverne Cox from "Orange Is The New Black."

Can tonight's production possibly be as good as the original?  We can all discuss that tomorrow but you can't blame Fox for trying!  I think the recently revamped TV musicals such as "The Sound of Music" and "Grease," have been helpful in exposing a new generation to shows that we grew up with.

If you've got a hankering for the classic film, you can see it on Long Beach Island on October 28th-29th.  Bellarine Theatre Co. is planning two showings complete with actor and audience participation.  The screenings will be at LBIF on Long Beach Blvd. in Loveladies.

Tickets are $20 and include a prop bag which should make the night extra fun!
