Remember last year, before Winter, when all sorts of experts were predicting a brutal season? I'm crossing my fingers, knocking on wood, and throwing salt over my shoulder as I type this, but it looks like we dodged the bullet here in Ocean County.

Back in January I wrote about how, even when areas north of us got walloped by storms, we seemed to avoid the heavy hits of snow. Here at WOBM, I don't think we activated Stormwatch once. And believe me, I am not complaining.

Mother Nature seems just a little confused at the moment though. Last week we had days in the 60s and even a day or two in the 70s, while last night some areas in Ocean County even flirted with the upper 20s. While the drastic changes are a nightmare for my sinuses, I still can't really complain with highs in the 50s, close to where they should be this time of year.

Again, I'm knocking on wood, with my luck I'll post this blog and we'll get slammed by an Easter weekend snow storm, but it looks like we may have dodged the bullet in a big way this year.

So what do you think, were you disappointed that we didn't have much snow this Winter? Vote in the poll below and feel free to tell us more in the comments section!
