Well, that was fast.

It was only about 6 months ago that rumors became facts and the Township of Brick issued permits for Trader Joe's to come to Ocean County for the first time and set up shop in Brick Plaza.

Today, we're learning the specifics of their ribbon cutting.

In a press release from the company, Trader Joe's announced that their Brick, NJ grand opening will be this Thursday, October 17th at 9 a.m.

It goes on to say that the event will feature all of the bells and whistles that we've come to expect from big grand openings, with prizes, giveaways, tastings, and more.

You can check out the new Brick Trader Joe's for yourself starting this Thursday at 110 Brick Plaza.

Just one final note for those hoping to grab a few bottles of Trader Joe's popular "Two Buck Chuck" wine, the Brick store doesn't have a liquor license and will not sell alcohol. The closest store to sell alcohol is the Princeton location.
