Beyond the Bake Sale Benefit for the Simons Soup Kitchen

"Simon's Soup Kitchen is more than just "Soup". Their doors, and hearts, are open to all "In need of a hot meal, or some fellowship". Their youngest "client" has been 6-days- old and their oldest has been 102 years-old."

It's a big benefit to help the Simons Soup Kitchen, the kitchen operates from Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 100 Grant Avenue in Seaside Heights. Feeding the needy here in Ocean County. Simons Soup Kitchen has served over 150,000 meals in their 16 years.

The Beyond the Bake Sale is a fundraiser to help support the mission at Simons' and you can help by taking part. The bake sale takes place Saturday, November 9th from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Union Church in Lavallette.

In addition to delicious treats ..... there will also be face painting and cookie decorating for the kids through out the day. Local artists from TRAC will have art work to sell for holiday gift giving.
