We Ranked the Best Ocean County Beaches, Do You Agree?
If there’s one thing Ocean County residents can debate forever, it’s which beach is the best. We all have our favorite. Maybe it’s where you spent summers as a kid, where your family goes every year, or simply the beach where you know you can have a great day.

So, we decided to rank some of our favorites. And before you start yelling at me in the comments… remember, this is all in good fun! 😂
Best Beaches in Ocean County Ranked
1. Island Beach State Park
There’s just something special about Island Beach. The natural beauty, wide-open shoreline and feeling that you’re truly getting away from everything make this a favorite for beach lovers.
2. Long Beach Island
Yes, we know LBI is technically made up of several communities, but we couldn’t leave it off! From Beach Haven to Surf City and Ship Bottom, there’s a reason people come back to LBI year after year.
3. Point Pleasant Beach
You get the best of both worlds here. Spend the day on the sand and then head over to the boardwalk for rides, games, food and plenty of Jersey Shore fun.
4. Brick Beach 3
Brick Beach deserves some love! It’s a convenient favorite for locals who want a classic Jersey Shore beach day without going too far. Grab your chair, sunscreen and cooler and settle in.
5. Seaside Heights
This is classic Jersey Shore. You have the beach, the boardwalk, the rides, the food and that unmistakable summer energy.
6. Lavallette
Looking for something a little more laid-back? Lavallette has that charming Shore-town feel and is perfect for a relaxing day by the water.
7. Seaside Park
A little quieter than its famous neighbor, Seaside Park is a great choice when you want beautiful sand and waves without quite as much excitement.
Now comes the important question: Did we get it right?
