Township police say Patrolman Robert Armstrong pulled the teen's car to the curb on Village Drive around 10:15 PM last Thursday, for driving without headlights.

A consent search, say police, alerted Armstrong's K9 partner Bullet to drugs. Police say Armstrong uncovered 19 small bags of marijuana and three larger bags of the weed, weighing nearly 90 grams in total.

The teenager's in the custody of his parents while awaiting a juvenile court date. He's charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of marijuana over 50 grams; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to use headlights; and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
