Another Gas Tax Increase for New Jersey Drivers?

Any adjustment to the 22.6 cent/gallon gas tax will be announced in advance of its effective date of Oct. 1~ Spokesman Willem Rijksen told NJ Advance Media.

 

Last November Jersey drivers saw a 23 cent per gallon gas tax enacted to help fund "transportation" projects and now we find out that another increase is not out of the question for this Fall!

According to a report by nj.com there is the possibility come October that another gas tax increase could be looming! Question is whether or not lawmakers in Trenton will impose another hit on Jersey drivers wallets?

So will New Jersey drivers spend more at the pumps come this October, we'll have to wait and see ...
