"A home is a shelter from many kinds of storms. Thank you for helping our family be prepared for whatever storms come next. We will never forget your generosity, thoughtfulness and contribution to our family in a time when we really needed an angel" ~ Linda Manning via Facebook

Patch recently reported on this story in Ocean County that really helps in these days and times when most of the news is negative.

The Manning family in Beachwood, who recently dealt with a battle with cancer, was in major need of repair to their roof. The family tried patching it, but it was a losing battle with winter fast approaching. April & I just replaced our roof so I know the expense involved first hand and the damage that a leaking roof can cause.

This is where Mike Mullen of Premier Roofing of Toms River came in. Mike heard of the health issues for this family and their need for proper roofing so his company, as they like to do at the holidays, stepped in this past Christmas and replaced the roof for this family. Truly a wonderful gesture at this time of year.

Linda Manning wrote on Facebook, "yes, there are Christmas angels," adding, "a company this generous reminds us of how powerful of an impact businesses can have on our communities."

Lets hope that this story helps others to see a way to "pay it forward" and help someone in need.
