America’s First Indoor Ski Slope Is Now Open In New Jersey

It's been a long time coming, but with yesterday's official ribbon cutting, New Jersey now has North America's only indoor ski slope.

Anybody who has traveled the northern reaches of the New Jersey Turnpike in the last decade or so has seen the brightly colored shell that has been waiting to welcome skiers and snowboarders for a long time.

That day finally arrived on Thursday, December 5th when Big SNOW at The American Dream Mall officially opened.

With celebrity guests like Olympian Lindsey Vonn, people finally got the chance to carve some snow at the New Jersey Meadowlands:

Big SNOW is open 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. every day.
