This so cool. A Lacey Girl Scout Troop is taking nominations for people to be apart of their movie celebrating Lacey Township's 150th Anniversary.

There are so many stories about the town and Lacey Girl Scout Troop 50249 is taking nominations for Lacey residents with those stories. The Girl Scouts do awesome things for girls of all ages and this would be pretty neat to be apart of. Girl Scout Troop is celebrating Lacey Township's 150th Anniversary by making a movie to celebrate this "huge" birthday. CLICK HERE, the troop is seeking nominations for those residents that have all kinds of stories about the town they love so much, according to the patch.com.

Girl Scout Troop 50249 is looking for people that have lived in Lacey for a long time. Residents that "love" Lacey Township will help create this movie and tell us all why they love living in Lacey Township. The video's theme is called "Live it, Love it - Be Part of it".

Not only will Lacey Township residents be talking about the town they love but they will be helping the girls with their Bronze Award Project. Darcie King, leader of the troop and manager of a video company, will be helping the girls put the project together.

The video will show what it's like to live in Lacey today with some great memories of yesterday. The girl scouts will also produce, interview, edit, and do mostly everything for this video. What an awesome teaching lesson?
