Woman faces DWI charges from Toms River car crash Friday
The driver, 45-year-old Wendy Soden is facing charges for driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child with her 10-year-old daughter in the car following a hit-and-run accident Friday night.
Following the car accident in Toms River, police believe Soden may have drove off to an address in Manchester, which is when both departments worked together to find the alleged suspect.
Soden was located and arrested at an address on the Hudson Parkway in Whiting later in the evening Friday.
Upon the arrest, her ability to drive was deemed impaired by consumption of alcohol.
Soden was processed and brought to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.
