Now THAT is a big pumpkin! When an Ocean County family planted their pumpkin seeds in the early spring, they didn't expect what they ended up with.

Phil Potter, of Anchor Avenue in Beachwood, planted his seeds in the early spring, along with "bonus seeds" that were included in the package.

Who knew that those "bonus seeds" would turn into the nearly 600lb monster that's currently on display in their front yard?

To be specific, the centerpiece is 578 pounds! They say that it grew at an astonishing rate of almost 20lbs a day in the late summer/early fall.

They moved the monster squashes into the front yard last weekend (the biggest took 8 people!). They're planning to carve them into jack-o-lanterns, and will have the gigantic gourds on display through Halloween.
