What Are These?

Ok before anyone says dinosaur eggs, Jurassic World opens this weekend, I can assure you they are not. I was doing yard work when I came across these two "shells" .... I'm curious what popped out of them. I'm sure our audience will know ... you folks always do. In the photo you can see how small they are, and the fact the shell is completely crushed leads me to believe something hatched.

It has been a wild year with animals at my house and this is just the latest to add to the list.

So if you could, please post your guesses below in the comments section and we will see if we can come up with a general answer as to what hatched on Shawn's lawn.
