What Are The Worst Dating Shows on TV?

Mark Stout – ThinkStock

Have you noticed how many truly awful new dating shows have been showing up on TV recently?

There are some classics like “The Bachelor“, that have a formula that works. But when a formula works, you’re going to get bad rip offs.

I Wanna Marry Harry” is a perfect example – where a group of American girls were brought out to England to go on dating competitions with a guy who was very purposefully groomed to look like Prince Harry.

Spoiler alert – it wasn’t Prince Harry.

And now we have shows like “Dating Naked“, which is exactly what it sounds like – people going on dates with each other, completely nude.

And the worst of the bunch, in my opinion at least, “The Singles Project“, where six New York singles are on the lookout for love. Of course, they have no idea why they haven’t found the perfect match yet, but if you watch more than 10 minutes of the show it becomes pretty clear – they’re completely unappealing people.

It’s pretty amazing to watch how far people will go these days on TV to try to date (or get famous, because let’s be honest, that’s why most of them are in it in the first place).

So what’s the worst dating show you’ve seen on TV? Tell us in the comments!
