WASHINGTON D.C. - Beach front in Sea Bright and Monmouth Beach will be repleneshed thanks to a request submitted by Congressman Frank Pallone (D) to the Army Corps Of Engineers. $12.3 million dollars will be awarded to fund the project; work will start being done for the project later this year.

TRENTON - Light snow could slow the ride home for commuters in New Jersey Wednesday afternoon. Meteorologist Alan Kasper is predicting light rain will move into the region from the west between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. They say it will mix with snow late in the afternoon before changing to all snow after sunset. An inch or less is possible in northwest Jersey. South Jersey could see mostly rain.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Excessive arsenic levels found in apple juice in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut prompt a shore Congressman to seek remedies against the health risks. Democrat Frank Pallone today introduces the Apple-Juice Act Of 2012. If enacted, it would require the Food And Drug Administration to set standards for arsenic and lead levels in fruit juices.

TRENTON - Two Shore area lawmakers are introducing a bill that will require local representation on the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. According to the Press Of Atlantic City, state Senators Chris Connors and Jeff Van Drew held a press conference Monday to talk about a measure that will ensure that at least one of the seven commissioners on the New Jersey Turnpike Authority be from Atlantic, Cape May or Ocean counties. The bill also requires the Authority to conduct some of its public meetings in south Jersey.

BRICK - Three late-night break-in car burglaries since the weekend in Brick Township have police searching for suspects. Investigators say that thieves used pry tools or lock tools on cars on Lanes Mill Road, Kentwood Boulevard and Orchid Lane, taking electronics, cash, and even seats and part of a console. Brick police urge anyone with information that can lead to arrests to step forward.

PLEASANTVILLE - Driving the Atlantic City Expressway tomorrow? Be alert for a detour off the Express EZ Pass lanes at the Pleasantville tolls. Utility work keeps the westbound lanes closed between 8:30AM and 2:30PM.
