Just in time for Halloween, we are talking about witchcraft and "Witches Through History". This is part of our "author's series" and we are sitting down to chat with author and illustrator Devin Forst and his latest book "Witches Through History". It is the perfect time of year to discuss this topic with Halloween less than a week away.

According to the Rizzoli bookstore website, "Witches through History includes archetypes, profiles, and true accounts of women who were thought to have spoken with spirits or made bargains with the Devil--and how they used their midnight powers to help or harm members of their community--the instruments and methods of the craft, the use of familiar spirits, and various methods of witch-finding and hunting. Popular tropes and folklore dealing with witches offer readers a deeper understanding of this mysterious, magical, and sometimes tragic part of history."

Listen to my interview with Devin it is booth spooky and historic on the topic of witches.
