Water main Break in Brick Causing Lane Closures

A water main break in Brick Township is forcing lane closures on Hooper Avenue near the Outback Steakhouse that are expected to last until 5 tonight, according to police.

Only one lane will be open in each direction of Hooper Avenue in that area and the driveways to Harbor Freight and the Brick Gardens Apartments are closed.

Water service may also be disrupted while repairs are made.

Motorists are being advised to pay extra attention when traveling in the area and to follow the direction of Police Officers on scene.
