WARNING: Attempted Child Abduction in Beachwood

This just in: The Ocean County Sheriff's Department issues a warning following the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old child on Cable Avenue in Beachwood today. Acting Sheriff William Sommeling says they received a 9-1-1 call from the child at around 3 o'clock, who's escaped from the back seat of a black Audi belonging to the alleged abductor after he was grabbed.

The suspect is described as a tall, bald white male, wearing a black jacket and t-shirt. Anyone spotting the suspect meeting this description is asked to call 9-1-1.
