Tuesday Collision on Highland Parkway and Water Street

Toms River Police are investigating an accident that sends three to the hospital with injuries.  Police say it involved the collision of two cars at Highland Parkway and Water Street at around 11 a.m. Tuesday resulting in one of the  vehicles  overturning. 

Officials say 77-year-old Nora McNaught was operating a 2003 Toyota northbound on Highland Parkway when she collided into a 2006 Honda Pilot that was traveling westbound on Water Street being operated by 18-year-old Shannon Lindquist of Brick. Lindquist's vehicle overturned on impact.  Both drivers and a passenger in the Toyota had minor injuries and were transported to Community Medical Center for treatment.
