Toms River Police Searching For Suspects In Two Armed Robberies

Toms River Police are investigating a pair of robberies that occured within the Township.

An early morning armed robber Wednesday at the Country Farm Storm on route 70 has police looking for a male suspect, 5,4" wearing a dark hoodie, ski mask, glasses, blue jeans and white gloves. The suspect entered the store at around 5:30 am, brandishing a long barreled revolver. He made off with $500 dollars from the store and two employees.

Police are investigating asecond armed robbery of a business Wednesday at the Express Laundromat on James Street. At 10:30 am two black males entered the business armed with hand guns and demanded money from the owner who was alone after the las customer just left. The two men took over $400 in quarters in a brown cloth bag and another $200 in cash before fleeing in a black car towards route 9.

Police describe one suspect wearing a red bandanna and the other a black ski mask.
