Manchester Police make three arrest following early morning shootings that jolted residents in the Pine Lake Park Section Wednesday.

Township police began getting calls during the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 22nd, after a resident on Burnside Street in Manchester's Pine Lake Park, reported hearing three gun shots after a vehicle passed by the residence.

After three patrol units responded to the scene, minutes later, dispatch received a call from another resident reporting hearing six gun shots in the area of Hannibal and Madison Streets. The caller also observed three people running up Hannibal Street toward Commonwealth Boulevard. Investigating police also found multiple empty shell casings in the area.

According to the police report, "While the investigation continued, two patrol officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Commonwealth Boulevard which led to the arrest of the driver, 21-year-old Angel Morales-Cordoso of Toms River, for DWI. Morales-Cordoso had pulled into the driveway of 20-year-old Manchester resident Micheal Dymond, who was inside the home. They also identified 20-year-old Andrew Norris of Toms River, who was also at the residence."

In the continued probe of the shootings, police reviewed surveillance video footage, interviewed neighbors and recovered evidence that they say led back to the home of Micheal Dymond. Police also went to the home of Andrew Norris and recovered multiple guns, including the handgun believed to have been used in the neighborhood shootings.

"Norris was charged with possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and disorderly persons offenses. Dymond and Morales-Cordoso were charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and disorderly conduct," the report says.

All three men were taken to the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $75,000 each, no 10% option.
