Jared Marchiano

The death of 17-year-old Jared Marchiano of Bayville is determined to be accidental, and the cause is asphyxiation by the 650-pound stone slab that pinned him during the weekend in Berkeley Township, according to the Ocean County Medical Examiner.

A viewing takes place Wednesday and funeral mass Thursday in Toms River for Jared Marchiano, 17, of Bayville, while the probe continues into his death on the grounds of a nearby business during the weekend just past.
