A woman with neck and head injuries was airlifted by a Coast Guard crew from a boat that ran aground off the Jersey Shore Sunday, officials said.

A French sailor used an emergency positioning device to help Coast Guard crews locate and rescue him after his vessel began sinking off the NJ coast Monday.

After several hours, crews from the the Coast Guard's Atlantic City and Delaware Bay stations were finally able to refloat a barge and tugboat that ran aground Sunday near Absecon Inlet.
