A tug boat and the incoming tide provided the push the 77-foot Captain Gavin needed to become afloat again, according to NJ.com.

Bad weather and high winds hindered previous attempts to remove the vessel from the beach.

A Coast Guard spokesman told NJ.com the Capt. Gavin was towed to Tottenville Marina in Staten Island with six people aboard, including the boat's captain and one member of the crew.

No damage was reported.
