As we head into Labor Day Weekend, a lot of people are considering this the end of Summer, 2015. But, as Ocean County residents, we know a secret - it's only the beginning for us.

If there's one thing that almost everyone can agree on when it comes to Summer, it's that sunburns aren't much fun, not to mention dangerous. Being that a lot of us will spend a good amount of time on our beaches and boardwalks this Summer, what are some of the best choices for protecting yourself from the sun?

We're past Memorial Day. We're past the 4th of July. We're officially in the heart of beach season here in Ocean County. While the great majority of our visitors are respectful and welcomed (at least the human kind), some just don't care. Like this guy that I saw last weekend:

When I was at The Community Medical Center Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio for my show last Friday afternoon, going into the 4th of July weekend, I noticed something as the afternoon turned into evening - after the people cleared out, the beach was a mess.

As us locals know, Labor Day Weekend does not mean the end of summer in Ocean County.

Yesterday, while I was broadcasting from our Seaside Studio, I had a visitor come up and ask about the history of Seaside Heights. Honestly, I couldn't really say much except for recent history, so I did a little bit of research.

When friends come to visit me here in Ocean County, there are usually a few specific places that I make a point to take them...

I do!  I always find it fun and I'm exercising while doing it.

This is no joke: The annual clown convention that has called New Jersey home for nearly a quarter of a century is taking its red noses, floppy shoes and baggy pants to Pennsylvania.

It's just about that time...Memorial Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore. Do those words get you excited for summer or make you shudder with terror?
