Labor Day Weekend – Not the End of Summer in Ocean County

As us locals know, Labor Day Weekend does not mean the end of summer in Ocean County.

In fact, if you ask me, the few weeks after this weekend are some of the best times to get out to the boardwalks and beaches.

Most of the crowds subside with kids going back to school and parents going back to work, but our hometown beaches, always just a short ride away, will still be open, the weather will be nice for a few more weeks, and the water should stay comfortable for a little while too.

Labor Day Weekend isn't the end of summer, it's just the tail end of the busy season for out of towners, but it's the perfect time of year for us locals!
