One day after an ATM customer was robbed while withdrawing cash at a Bank of America branch in Wall Township, another holdup takes place at the machine outside a branch in Toms River.

The Lakewood man who told police in Monmouth's Ocean Township that he was robbed at gunpoint last April is now accused of fabricating the story.

I almost had a heart attack a few minutes ago. I got what I thought was one of those phone calls that nobody wants to get. It turns out that it was just a customer service representative who could have done a better job of choosing his words.
