It's time to start voting! American Idol has whittled down the field to the Top 24 (or, as they're calling it, The Top 24 + 1, the judges will pick one more, no doubt in dramatic fashion, next week). As American Idol moves on to Hollywood Week, the standouts really start to...well, stand out. Justin Louis talked to contestant Adam Brock, who blew the judges away with his version of "Walking in Memphis" this past Wednesday.

Last week I wrote about how, so far, I've been pretty underwhelmed by American Idol this season. I felt like the show was focusing more on story and less on talent, and like more mediocre contestants were getting golden passes to Hollywood than would have before.
