An extensive joint drug probe by Brick Township and Toms River investigators results in the arrest of a suspected cocaine and crack dealer in Brick.

Ronald Hagan, 40, was arrested early this morning in the aftermath of a warrant search of a dwelling in the 100 block of Primrose Lane, near Lanes Mill Elementary, approved after an investigation that police said unfolded during several months.

Police said that members of the Brick PD Drug Enforcement Unit, the Toms River Special Enforcement team and the Brick SERT team seized unspecified amounts of cocaine and crack.

Hagan is charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute five ounces or more, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack with intent to distribute less than a half-ounce and possession with intent to distribute within a school zone.

Hagan was placed in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, with bail set at $250,000 cash.
