Christopher Bayham was apprehended Sunday night, says Police Chief Mike Mastronardy.

Earlier in the day, Officers Jennifer Grob and Samantha Sutter flagged down a vehicle believed to have been used in one of the holdups. Police say information from the driver led investigators to Bayham.

He's charged in connection with robberies at OceanFirst branches on Route 37 on July 22 and on Route 70 August 2, as well as at a Sovereign Bank on Route 37 on July 29.

Bayham is not eligible for release on payment of 10 percent of his bail. Brick and Stafford Township police assisted in the probe.
