Brick Police are investigating a stabbing incident at My Family Auto Care on Route 88. 54-year-old township resident Steven Kalinich was arrested after being subdued by the stabbing victim late Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the victim was treated on scene by the Brick Township Police Emergency Medical Service and refused any additional medical attention.

Kalinich was transported to Brick Township Police Headquarters where he was charged with; Aggravated Assault (2nd Degree), Aggravated Assault (3rd Degree), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Bail was set by the Judge Robert Lepore at $50,000 with no option to post ten percent.
