Soups On – Why Soup Can Be The Perfect Meal These Days

It has been a hectic week…but “soup” may be the answer
I love soup and I was thinking just how perfect it can be right now for a good hot meal. We are recovering from Hurricane Sandy and many are still without power….but soup is easy to make even if you have to use your backyard grill or a campfire. I made soup while we were out of power using my propane grill ( Made Hank Hill very proud ) and it was great ! Its also easy to keep without refrigeration … whether its instant or canned soup and it’s cost effective! Soup is not super expensive and for many right now money is tight!
We love at home to put a big pot of soup on and leave simmering for awhile…..
So maybe tonight its a “soup” night
