Six Flags Great Adventure Hiring 4,000 for 2013 Season

Four thousand job opportunities will soon be opening up at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson for their 2013 season. The theme park is hosting two job fairs on February 9th and February 16th in hopes of filling positions in a wide-range of fields. Spokeswoman Kristin Siebeneicher says they have jobs ranging from merchandising to landscaping, food service, marketing, ride operations, entertainment, loss prevention, life guards, the safari etc.....

She says they're looking for people of all ages. "We're looking for people that have just a lot of energy. They really love working with people. Like an exciting environment that's very fast-paced. Really people that just want to serve our guest."

Siebeneicher says even though they'll have computers at the job fair ... she encourages people interested in attending to fill out an on-line application in advance especially if you've never worked at the theme park before. Visit www.sixflagsjobs.com to complete an online application.

She says if you can not attend, you can apply at their Employment Center beginning February 4th at 1 Six Flags Blvd. Jackson, NJ 08527 (use Employment/Service entrance). mployment center hours: beginning February 4, Monday to Friday 1 to 6 pm & Saturday 9 am to 5 pm

She says they offer a flexible work schedule, health and medical benefits, reward programs, scholarships and free park admission.

The job fairs run from from 10 am to 4 pm.

The 2013 season runs from March 23rd through 0ctober 28th.
