The borough of Seaside Heights settles a police brutality lawsuit for just over $63-thousand. The motion was filed a year ago by Joseph Alfieri of Manahawkin who claimed that police illegally entered his residence, sprayed him with tear gas, choked and kicked him during a domestic disturbance when he was a resident. An attorney representing the borough says the agreement is not an admission of guilt but the end to litigation.
