Police Seek Holiday City Robbery Suspect

The search continues for the man who attempted to break into an elderly woman's home in an age-restricted community in Toms River.

Police say the female Holiday City resident in Silverton scared off the suspect as he attempted to gain entry through a rear bedroom window Thursday afternoon. A State Police helicopter assisted in the search for the suspect as he fled on foot down Church Road.

The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, wearing a black hoodie, light grey pants, gloves, a face covering and carrying a crow bar.
