Photography At The Jersey Shore – Shutterblog July 2014

Shawn Michaels, Townsquare Media

I love photography as a hobby and I enjoy sharing my photos, many  from right here at the Jersey Shore. I hope you enjoy taking some time to relax  as I share my visions with you ~ Shawn Michaels

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
‘Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
~ Francis Scott Key ( 1814 )

The Bank on Mattison … Asbury Park, New Jersey. Great old building! Originally built in 1917 … it was home to Merchants National Bank. Now it’s a great night for food and drink.

Underneath an apple-tree Sat a maiden and her lover; And the thoughts within her he Yearned, in silence, to discover. Round them danced the sunbeams bright, Green the grass-lawn stretched before them While the apple blossoms white Hung in rich profusion o’er them. ~ Will Carleton ( American Poet )

Another sign of the Season …. Apple Blossoms !  ( Not a lot of quotes containing apple blossom )
