Mayor Paul Kennedy terms the shutdown as "temporary" in an email to WOBM News as the Ocean County Health Department continues their investigation into complaints the turbines are too loud.

Ocean Gate officials  continue to cooperate during they investigation and they are studying ways to quiet them down.

Residents are concerned about the noise affecting their property values and say Kennedy has brushed off their concerns, an allegation Kennedy denies.
