Ocean County Gas Prices Drop

Gas prices dropped almost six cents in the past week in Toms River, according to GasBuddy.com.

A gallon of regular averaged $3.16 Sunday. The rest of the country's at about $3.36, also a drop of over a nickel a gallon. Locally it's 13 cents lower than a month ago but 35 cents higher than this time last year.

Analyst Patrick De Haan's survey shows shorter drivers expecting to travel shorter distances Thanksgiving Day – 2% saying the won't drive at all.
