NJ State Police To Boost Patrols During Super Bowl
State troopers will be out on force on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway on Super Bowl Sunday.
Saturated patrols will target drunken drivers, speeders, texters and those who aren’t wearing seat belts.
Acting state Highway Traffic Safety director Gary Poedubicky tells The Record newspaper officials are sensitive to the heightened passions of fans excited to see the Giants playing in Indianapolis.
Additional details will be released on Thursday.
