I ate a slice of leftover pizza for my Easter dinner, but don't feel bad for me.  I'm happy to report that that meal was part of a very nice day.  It wasn't traditional by any means, but it was enjoyable, enriching and spiritual, which is pretty much the way a good Easter should be, right?

My Sunday started with an early morning church service where my spiritual cup got filled.  Then a chat with my sister who was unable to spend the holiday weekend with me this year.   Then I took care of some cleaning and organizing around the house.  Some pictures I've been wanting on the wall finally got hung.

Helping my friend move gave me more of a workout than I would have liked on a holiday but it felt good to lend a hand and spend time with her.  While unloading the van, I took in and appreciated the sunshine and fresh air.  It's really feeling like spring!

After the pizza slice, I took a couple hours to work on my taxes.  Finally, I see light at the end of the tunnel, past the big pile of statements and receipts.

My reward for all this productivity?  An hour in front of the TV watching the premiere of the new season of "Mad Men."   Aaaaah.  I'd say it was a very nice Easter, thanks very much. Did you have more of a traditional or non-traditional holiday weekend?
