Over the last few weeks an awful lot of people have been dousing themselves in ice water. The great part of "The Ice Bucket Challenge" is the fact that it has been going to a great cause. Since this whole thing started, The ALS Association has raised over $10 million.

And that's great! There are few things more inspiring than people from all walks of life coming together to help out a great cause.

ALS is a terrible disease that researchers from all over the world are working tirelessly to find a cure for. Hopefully, with donations like they've received in the last few weeks, we can see ALS cured in our lifetimes.

We also have to keep in mind, however, that there are many other similar afflictions that also impact people every day.

As many of you know, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the charity that I work the most closely with.

I lost a dear friend to CF a number of years ago and since then, myself and many of Kevin's friends have been working tirelessly to help out The CFF and help to bring awareness and support to this terrible illness.

A good friend of mine, Megan, is currently working with The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to raise money for their "New Jersey's Finest" program. She's got a tough hill to climb with a goal of $2,500 in only a few short weeks.

So here's my challenge to you, and you don't even have to dump a bucket of ice water on your head - help to spread the message of other terrible diseases like CF. If you would like to support my friend's quest, you can donate here.
