Manchester Patrolman is DWI Top Gun
A Manchester Patrolman receives the D.W.I. Top Gun Award for the second year in a row.
Patrolman Peter Manco is being recognized for having made the most D.W.I arrest in Manchester Township in 2011. He received the same honor from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety in 2010.
Captain Lisa Parker says Patrolman Manco consistently leads the department in criminal arrest as well and has been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving in 2009, 2011 and 2012 for his distinguished service in D.W.I. enforcement.
Manco, a Toms River native, joined the Manchester Police Department in 2005. Prior to that, he was a Seaside Park police officer and a professional firefighter at the Navy Lakehurst Rescue Department.
