Lakewood Woman Pepper Sprayed and Robbed

A Lakewood woman was pepper sprayed and robbed while sitting outside her home with her children Sunday night.

The Lakewood Scoop reports it happened on Linden Avenue around 8:00pm.  Police say the suspect, described as a black man, walked up to the woman.  He then sprayed her in the face and grabbed her wallet and cell phone.

The man fled on foot.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Lakewood Police.
